New Year, New Wardrobe - Intern Wardrobe

New Year, New Wardrobe
Annabelle Slator

It’s January, the Christmas Binge is over and it’s time to go back to work. But it’s not all doom and gloom, the new year is a great time to refresh your wardrobe!

We’ve put together a few of our favourite looks, taking inspiration from current office trends and the fabulous fashion bloggers being featured on our Instagram page:

PERFECT PASTELS

PalmerHarding

Pairing soft pastel shades with a formal grey palette creates a feminine and professional look. Switch up the trouser shade to suit your mood, a baby blue would also look fabulous!

Jumper – New Look

Trousers – River Island

Coat – H&M

Heels – ASOS

Bag – Fiorelli

CUT ABOVE THE REST

It looks like the crop top is here to stay, so why not incorporate it into your workwear?! Laying a short shirt underneath a basic jumpsuit keeps it looking professional – an exposed midriff is a big no no in the office!

Crop shirt – Miss Selfridge

Jumpsuit – H&M

Coat – Missguided

Boots – Dune

Jewellery – Topshop

GIVE ME TEXTURE

Laying texture instead of colour is a great way to experiment with your 9-5 look. Contrast a slick leather skirt with a chunky knit to be the talk of the office.

Jumper – Fat Face

Skirt – Whistles

Heels – New Look

Hat – Catarzi

Bag – Miss Selfridge

CLASH OF THE PATTERNS

Want to be a bit more daring? Clashing subtle patterns like paisley and pinstripe can give your old wardrobe a 2015 revamp!

Shirt – East

Skirt – H&M

Jacket – Topshop

Loafers – Dorothy Perkins

Bag – Fiorelli
